Overnight on Shortoff - Linville Gorge Wilderness

A friend & I decided to do a short overnight on Shortoff as her first visit to the gorge since it was the last weekend we could go before permit season began! This is just a video showing our hiking and the scenery. No mileage points or anything ... though a short rant I did include about people leaving their garbage behind (or trying to burn it).

Along our adventure ... we enjoyed a drizzly afternoon as we hiked up the Shortoff/MST trail, nice fireside chats, a sunrise, and a gorge side lounge spot before making our way down Shortoff via Olson to return to our cars at Wolf Pit trailhead.
